Hyderabad, it’s time to light up those diyas and spread some joy this Diwali. We’re bringing you a chance to request a Hot Air Balloon (that’s right!) through your Uber app!
At Uber, we love celebrating our cities. For us, Hyderabad is best characterised by youthful innovation, an old-school charm, and gorgeous weather. We’ve put all this together to pack a delightful evening to bring you #HotAirBalloon!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO REQUEST A #HOTAIRBALLOON
Service will run between 10.30AM – 1.30PM. IST on Nov 10, 2015*
- Ensure your linked Airtel OR Paytm wallet has a minimum INR 1,500 balance
- Select #HotAirBalloon in the Uber app
- Press the black bar that reads “Set Pickup Location”
- If everything looks correct, press the request button at the bottom of the screen
- You will receive a phone call confirming your request and will be given a time slot. At this point, the trip will be ended in-app, as the experience begins.
- Do NOT forget to carry an ID (DL or Passport)
- Enjoy your 15 minute hot air balloon ride
- Cash payments will be collected at the HotAirBalloon take off location
- *Weather is the only thing that will keep the Balloon from taking off. In the unlikely event of rain, #HotAirBalloon will not be available.
- HOT AIR BALLOON PRICING: INR 1,500 | CASH,PAYTM WALLET BALANCE, AIRTEL MONEY BALANCE OR DEBIT/CREDIT CARD
Pricing is inclusive of:
- Door-to-door Uber service
- HotAirBalloon ride for 2
- Dinner/Lunch voucher

Terms n details about the event..
You can only request for #HotAirBalloon between 10.30am to 1.30pm
There will be only one pick-up and drop-off : You’ll be provided a promo code for your rides
If you’re paying with an e-wallet ensure your wallets have a minimum INR 1,500 balance
There might be slight wait time at the balloon location, don’t worry, we’ll keep you hydrated with cool refreshments
Safety guidelines : do not permit kids / infants to accompany the couple
Uber is not a direct air or transport carrier. All air services advertised will be provided by Camping Retreats of India Pvt. Ltd.
Hot Air Balloon rides are conducted by CRI.
