Uber Kochi New Fare Chart with Distance Surcharge

Starting today, to justify partner economics, there’s a marginal change in pricing for longer distance trips. After 15 KMs, you will be charged a different fare for every KM that your uberX take you, as follows:
Uber have applied distance surcharge for your ride in Kochi from today, this means, your bill be higher for longer rides almost double.
Recently Uber has increased fare for Hyderabad and Bangalore cities. This increase is in favor of Uber Drivers. Now drivers will not hesitate to take longer rides for you otherwise they used to worry for return rides from some unknown part of the city.

Uber still claims to be cheaper then other taxi in city, which only you can decide. Normal calculation verify it but actual cost depend upon time as well which varies from peak time to normal traffic time.

Long Distance Fares On UberX And UberGO in Hyderabad

As per Uber Hyderabad announcement...
Starting today, to justify partner economics, there’s a marginal change in pricing for longer distance trips. After 16 KMs, you will be charged a different fare for every KM that your uberX and uberGO take you, as follows: Uber is increasing it's fare silently, earlier Uber has increased Bangalore fare if your distance exceeds 15 km in single ride, today they are increasing Hyderabad fare.

Today onwards you have to pay increased fare for your ride exceeding 16 km regular fare limit. Lets see few example to understand fare calculation and plan ride better.

Example 1. You take a ride of 16 km in 30 mins in UberX.
Distance fare : 16*9 = Rs 144 (No difference in fare)
Time Fare : 1*30 =Rs 30
Base Fare : Rs 45        
Total Bill : Rs 219

Example 2. You take a ride of 20 km in 40 mins in UberX.
Distance Fare: 16*9 + 4*18 = Rs 216 (Difference : 4*9=36)
Time Fare : 1*40 =Rs 40
Base Fare : Rs 45        
Total Bill : Rs 301

Uber in-car free WiFi arrives in Hyderabad Available Now

Uber announced its in-car free wifi features all over India some time back. Uber has tie-up with Airtel 4G to provide free  WiFi t its rides in almost all the cabs in India but they didn't start anything significant except in Mumbai uberBLACK cabs.

Uber is about to begin free in-car WiFi in Hyderabad by tomorrow. All the knowledge transfer competed to its drivers. Free WiFi will come to uberX and uberSUV only , there will be no facility in uberGO.

Uber will offer commuters free high-speed internet, powered by Airtel 4G – allowing riders to surf the Internet, use favorite apps or message friends and family during their ride without incurring any data charges!

"This partnership is built on our shared visions and strengths of broad, reliable networks and connecting people to their world, anytime, anywhere," said Amit Jain, President, Uber India. Over the next few months, both companies will also be working on joint marketing campaigns.

Uber Hyderabad have increased its fare and now became the costliest ride in India if you use uberSUV. uberSUV has only INNOVA cars nothing else. Uber Bangalore has increased its UberBLACK fares recently now Uber Hyderabad increased its fare.

            I was exploring Uber fare quote and guess what I found, It shows fare charges irrespective of whether service is available or not.  It doesn't matter either, I was calculating how much fare will be between two points in map. How can you regain access of your Uber account once it's disabled?

Update: Banned account is a pain, I have many friends who got locked out form Uber due to suspicious activity, some got their account enabled again after some conversation with Uber support and mostly are banned for life. Here is one scenario when you account may get banned. Read this story till end to get the idea.

Q. How can you regain access of your Uber account once it's disabled?

Recently uber had this scheme of "refer someone, that refferal gets 600 credits and you get 600 when he makes his/her first ride".

I made many people join , though all refferals were real and accounts were created with their permission and presence but all accounts were created from my phone .

I earned many credits. But soon my account was closed down.
Now whenever I try logging in from any acount in my phone  it gets banned within few minutes.

Is there any solution or any hack to avoid this and get my acount back ? I still have 5k credits left in my account and I desperately want it.
