iPhone 5s Price in India Slashed, Now Available Around Rs. 21,500/-
The iPhone 5s has received the second big price cut in four months. Back in September, the iPhone 5s received its first price cut post the launch of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, and was made available at Rs. 35,000 for the 16GB variant, with the 32GB model priced at Rs. 40,000.
To recall, the iPhone 5s 16GB price went down to Rs. 26,990 at an online retailer in September.
While the features of new iPhones usually have some mystery about them, one thing you can count on is the older premium model suddenly becoming the budget contract device.
This isn’t such a bad thing, and in the case of the iPhone 5s, there are reasons why someone may choose to opt for it instead of the newer iPhone 6 and 6 Plus models.
The 5s features most of the functionality of the 6-series, such as the Touch ID fingerprint scanner, 64 bit processor, 8 megapixel camera, and available in 16 and 32GB storage options.
Although it lacks the larger screens of the iPhone 6 series, this might not be a problem for some Apple enthusiasts, as being able to use the phone one-handed is still important to some individuals. With frequent updates from Apple, the 5s has at least a few years left of serviceability.
