Gmail/inbox was already collecting related information at one place for you , Google trips is the separate app for same initiative with a lot more features.
The app has complete guides for more than 200 major cities, and each of those has six main features: Reservations, Things to Do, Saved Places, Day Plans, Food & Drink and Getting Around. There are guides for most other cities as well, but you won’t get Day Plans and Getting Around options for those smaller locations.

There is no fine print here. As long as you don’t consider the fact that Google now has a new way of collecting your data as a price to pay, there is no monetary charge for using the app. This is significant if you compare it to similar travel apps like TripIt, which costs $49 per year for its premium service.

Now uber rolled out ride scheduling feature almost everyone, if you can't see option , update your app. You can schedule your ride from 15 mins to 30 days in advance. You can view all upcoming trips in one window in app.

How it works
- Schedule a ride : Select your ride and tap "Schedule a Ride" to request up to 30 days in advance.
- Set pickup info : Set your pickup date, time, location, and destination, and get a fare estimate.
- Confirm your trip : Confirm the details of your upcoming trip and tap Schedule. You can edit or cancel at any time before your ride is ready.
- Enjoy your ride : We’ll send you reminders the day of the trip and notify you when your ride is on the way. We’ll also let you know if surge pricing applies.

Q: Who can use Scheduled Rides?
A: All riders are able to schedule their next ride in any city where Scheduled Rides are enabled.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Scheduled Rides are priced exactly like a normal uberX ride and subject to pricing conditions at the future time the request is made. Surge pricing may apply.
Q: What if I need to cancel my scheduled ride?
A: No problem. You can cancel anytime before your car is dispatched to pick you up, and after it’s dispatched you can cancel up to 5 minutes (per our normal policy) without a cancellation fee.
Q: Am I guaranteed to get a ride?
A: Uber actively monitors availability to ensure that a car will arrive during the period you schedule a ride, but does not guarantee your scheduled ride. In the rare case a car cannot be found, you’ll be notified immediately.
Combination of Google trips and Ride Scheduling
Now you can use Uber together, just like you book your flight, hotel etc, simply book your ride in advance between your home to airport, airport to hotel etc. No need to worry at last moment. These is no official tie -up between uber and google the same but you can plan your rides based upon your itinerary and sights you plan to visit according to time.
