Uber is making it very easy to donate to needy people, its not the first time uber took such attempt. Almost on every occasion Uber comes up with unique idea to help needy. You just need to follow simple instruction given by uber, its as simple as clicking a button on uber app.
Option 1: Just take a ride and uber will donate one note book for each ride

Option 2: Uber will collect your donation from your doorstep
This children’s day, bring smile on 100’s of underprivileged children faces. The festive season is done, and you are done shopping, consider donating your old clothes, games and toys.#VIZAGGIVES – CLEAN OUT YOUR CLOSETS AND LET UBER TAKE CARE OF THE REST
Starting from 6th November to 10th November, with the touch of a button, a driver will come to your house, pickup bags of clothing, books, toys and games that you are willing to donate and deliver them directly to Vizag Smile — all for free!
HOW IT WORKS:
- Bag up items such as clothing, books, sports goods and school supplies (scroll down for the complete list) that you’re willing to donate
- Open the Uber app anytime between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM from from 6th – 10th November
- Slide over to the ‘UberDONATE’ option at the bottom of the screen and hit request
- If your request is successful, an Uber will arrive to pick up your items and drop-off your donation free of charge.
THE DETAILS:
- All donations must be bagged for drivers to accept your donation.
- Please keep in mind that drivers can’t leave vehicles unattended, so we request you to bring your bagged items out to meet your driver when he arrives.
- We expect demand to be super high so please be patient!
